Taxi clearance - 10.11 LT

The plane is now ready to drive to runway 25R, this is called taxiing. Taxiways are also numbered just like runways.  At Brussels airport, there are taxiways called “Sierra”, “Inners” and “Outers”. Since there are several “Inners” and “Outers”, they’re numbered like “Outer 7”, “Outer 8”, “Inner 6”…

  • Holding point A (Alfa): A holding point is a compulsory stop; you cannot go further without permission.
