Hello pilots
The Greece and Belgian division, invite you on Tuesday the 29th of May 2012 to fly between the two countries.
The airports of Brussels in Belgium and of Kerkyra in Greece will provide full ATC services for inbound and outbound traffic.
All BE-Division members will fly from Brussels to Corfu.
All GR-Division members will fly from Corfu to Brussels.
All other members may choose the leg you would like to fly.
The choice is yours.

Hello to all pilots
On Tuesday 15th May 2012, the Belgian division organizes a special business flight event.
Fly between Ostend - Brussels South -Liege and Luxembourg airports.
You can start at one of these airports and fly the four airports cross country like you wish.
Only Categorie B an C are allowed and speed max 250 Kias below FL100 as usual.

Come and fly on 24th April 2012 from Brussels to Strasbourg or vice versa and transport the members of the European parliament between both destinations from 18h00 till 21h00UTC.
All the positions will be staffed for this evening.
The flights are to be made by aircraft of maximum Cat -C.

We celebrate in Belgium the 500th birthday of Mercator ( 5 March 1512 – 2 Dec 1594),
the father of the modern cartography. He was born in Rupelmonde (Belgium) and lived there, but spent later on half of his life time in Duisburg (1552-1594).
On this occasion we would like to have a common event in both our divisions.
We propose an Air Bridge event between Brussels (EBBR) and Duisburg (Weeze, EDLV) and back for the Belgian pilots and EDLV-EBBR-EDLV for the German pilots.

We end the series of Belgian events for this year with a last-minute shopping in London on Friday December 23, 2011.
The famous Harrods and most of the other important shops (Marks & Spencer, Harvey Nichols, Hamleys, Topshop, ....) are open till 21.00z.
So, take your aircraft and fly the eager shoppers from Liège to London-Heathrow and back, departing at 18.00z.
You can also flying back to Liege in the late evening.

IVAO presents its premier event “Crowded Skies 8” on December 18, 2011. This record breaking unique event sets the entire IVAO skies alive and active. During this event, you can expect full traffic around the world, live Air Traffic Control, arranged flights between divisions and more. The previous edition of Crowded Skies had more than 2.303 (!) simultaneous connections at a point of time and over 9,600 flights during the entire event, which is a unique record.

IVAO and Aerosoft have joined hands during this event for a noble cause. Aerosoft has agreed to contribute equivalent Euro’s for the maximum simultaneous connections achieved during this Crowded Skies Event. For eg., if we have 2,000 simultaneous users Aerosoft will contribute Euro 2000 to charity. All the contributions will be made to “Guder Orphanage Center”. This organisation supports the orphanage center in Guder – Ethiopia where 56 girls live and get the chance to attend a school.
Remember every flight you make during the peak hour (which is expected between 14 Z – 21 Z) will result in a 1 Euro donation by Aerosoft and you have a chance to make a difference in this world in your own small way.
